Ingredients

57g Unsalted Butter Room temperature
100g Turbinado Sugar
50g Grandulated Sugar
112g Steel Cut or Rolled Oats Process to fine powder
125g All Purpose Flour Shift
1/2 Vanilla Bean Pod Scrapped
1/4 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Baking Powder
1/2 tsp Baking Soda
50g Chopped Walnuts Or Pecans Toasted
100g Dark Chocolate Rough chopped into bite sized pieces

      Add butter, vanilla seeds and sugar together and blend together into a smooth creamy texture then add egg

      Shift all the dry ingredients together: flour, oats, salt, baking soda and powder.

      Slowly in thirds add flour mixture to butter, egg and sugar mixture till everything is oncorporated (blended).

      Mix in chocolate chunks and chopped nuts

      You can use a scooper or your hands and seperate the dough into balls (approx 5 centimeters). Place on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. You can either freeze them for 90 minutes before placing into a storagw container to be baked as you want or you can bake them immediately at 170C/350F for 15 minutes.
