Ingredients

3tbs Japanese Soy Sauce Any dark sauce can be used if Jpanese Soy sauce is not available
3tbs Mirin
3tbs Sake I would recommend agaist using an expensive sake but a good quality sake
1/2 kilo Peeled And Deveined Raw Shrimp I like to use U-15
1-2tbs Peanut Oil

Pan Seared Shrimp Teriyaki Sauce

      This simple to make pan sauce is a crowd pleaser!

      Teriyaki sauce is a combination of sake, mirin and soy.  Once made the sauce can be store indefinitely.

      Blend

      Combine all the ingredients into a leak proof container and refrigerate until needed.

      Heat a large frying pan

      Add cleaned shrimp and cook till opaque.

      Remove shrimp from the pan and place on a platter,

      Turn down heat to low and add Teriyaki sauce.

      Once sauce has thickened and becomes glossy. Turn off fire completely. Then add shrimp.

      Coat the shrimp in the Teriyaki sauce then serve immediately.
